worked 12pm - 9pm today..
tml is children day.. i thought night will be busy sia.. in E end not busy at all..

alot of ppl say learning is a never ending journey.. i agree but i don see ppl really practicing it until i went for work today...

the restaurant had juz sign an attachment STUDENT from shatec who is taking culinary diploma, i was thinking cool sia.. got shatec student.. can chit chat from him about more info on culinary..

i was STUN when he step into the kitchen at 2pm.. i saw an old ah pek.. he's the STUDENT!! i really admire his "learning is a never ending journey" attitude.. after asking the manager.. i found out he's 56 years old.. and he is very skinny and hunchback.. and he cant really work coz of his old age, he could not carry heavy stuff or open a potato..

during the night.. we had no choice becoz he couldnt be any help for us thus he had to be the one washing =\

i know it's good be have a "learning is a never ending journey" attitude but mayB we should consider our own ability before doing it..

my manager has already made her mind to give him 2 more weeks to see how he's doing.. if still like tat means bye bye to him..

even after he graduate from shatec.. i wonder who will hire him long term?..

i really have a feeling of sympathy for him becoz he might be doing this for some reason behind..

the worst of all, he's so old, working at sembawang.. and is staying at tampines.. it muz be really tiring for a senior citizen like him.. and have i mentioned he's been pay $500 per month onli?

he has to attend 3 day school, 4 day work. where's the rest day?!?! damn the system man.

if he stays at manna: he cant work and the travel distance is too hard for him
if he sacked by manna: affect his attachment and grades and future( provided he have)

either path is torture.. all i can say is wish him all E best =\
