11 oct

1stly I apologize 4 any typo becoz I am typing on the iPad now which I am nt used to it.

The time now is near 3am, I am sitting outside sgh visitor area now thinking of alot of thing. Anyway I'm here doing hourly check on my mum myself becox the nurse here are all abit too Bo chap.

For the past few days, I was still asking myself if I'm in a bad dream but obviously everything is real. So many things can change to a normal person in 2 weeks, I still can't believe it.

I wan to share this story to the 15-20 of u who's reading this but it's abit hard for me to really start. The whole thing started after my mum and aunt went down to pay the balance for our Taiwan holiday trip, she has decide nt to go becox she felt unwell but keep insisting she does not wan to see a proper doctor so she went to request to see if she could get any compensation while I will join my aunt family to go. When they are leaving, wat I heard from my aunt was she started walking dizzily falling towards 1 side, end up my mum feel tat she might had a stroke and asked my aunt to send her to the hospital, my aunt's family send her to sgh immediately and she was assign to the accident & emer. Dept.

Not knowing the exact problem, she was advised to be warded for observation thus we agreed. They did ECG, x Ray and hell loads of blood test 4 her but couldn't get an answer for her constant complain of chest pain, after 2 day of staying there, suddenly she told us she can't pee + her legs are feeling numb and onli her toe can move a little, but there was still no answer. So the doctor has decided to send her for a MRI scan (spaceship vessel thingy u see in tv) she did the test during noon, and during evening, my mum told us she cant feel or move her leg. The doc come and tell us the MRI initial report looks okay, but thank god another doctor pass by and when she heard my mum saying that she cant feel her legs anymore, that passerby doctor panic all of a sudden and the whole situation became tense, in no more than 10 minutes, a senior specialist came down and started reading all the reports again while those rookie doctor were standing around like watching movie

End up doctor came to tell me from MRI scan, there is a lump of fatal bacteria trap at the throat area which is pressing on her nerves system, she must do an operation tonight or she might become fully paralyze or even worst, death. I asked for the chance of success, he told me unpredictable but all he know is if u do this op, u get a chance to save her life but she might not be able to recover those control she has lost. If u don do, it's just death waiting 4 her. By that time most relatives has came down to look at her, crying and speechless. I didn't really cried at the start be cox relative was around and I didn't want to cry in front of my mum if not she will be more sad. So finally after all the relative left, while I was sitting outside wid my dad, for the 2nd time in my life, i saw him crying and i too, finally started tearing and fearing of all the negative things that will happen.

End up she didn't manage to do her operation at midnight becox they wan to scan more area of her body to see how wide the bacteria has spread and has arrange her operation to be at 6am.but i guess as C class ward patient, the service and care really was not to expectation, a 6am operation end up onli starting at 3pm, juz count at how many hour it's been delayed. totally speechless. Her operation ended around 8pm and was send to ICU for close observation.

i will stop here for awhile and continue next time. coz it's really a long story and thanks to everyone who has been giving me non stop regards, thank you all. =)
